Mommy and Daddy had to buy me a new car seat for the truck. I guess i out grew the old one which is fine with me! I hated being lugged around in it. It was one of those carriers that can go in the car and come out to carry me around. Now i get to ride with mommy in the Jeep baby carrier when we go to the store! Much funner then sitting in the car seat on the shopping basket! The new car seat they picked up is MUCH bigger then the last. In fact, it sits much higher to, allowing me to see out of the windows as we drive along! While driving home from Grandma and Grandpa Kalcevics last weekend, i was telling mommy and daddy all about my visit with them and all the things i could see while we were driving!

Now that I'm big enough to fit in my Jeep baby carrier, we all have been going on hikes and such with the puppies! I get to snuggle with mommy while daddy holds the puppies. The carrier allows me to look around at all the cool stuff, like squirrels, creeks, and trees! We have visited couple different parks in Douglas county (Castle Rock) area. We once even went to the park up off of Lincoln and I25 in Lone tree and sat under a tree enjoying the nice summer breeze! I got to lay on a blanket while mommy and daddy lay on either side of me! i got to stare up at the sky and watch birdies and such. It was really fun! I hope we go back when it gets warmer.

I found out today that someone has a cruch on me! She a little older then i am, has alot more hair! and is just about my size too! Chloe, one of my puppies! Every morning shes makes it a point to sneak upstairs from her bed when daddy isnt looking to come and give me good morning kisses. I have found out that if i stick my hands out i get to pet her for a small bit before her presence is noticed by mommy and daddy to which they reply "go eat Chloe". I guess she likes me better then food, which is saying alot for a puppy! I have also found that while im an hangin out in my highchair while mommy and daddy are eating, she will sit in the livingroom and gaze in my direction. She really is cute! I cant wait till i can go outside and run and play with her! Everyonce in a while Clayton comes upstairs to say hi as well, but he REALLY likes his food, thus i dont see him as often in the mornings.

Keep an eye, Daddy found a new way to share with the family as i grow. He promises that he will be adding pictures of me and documenting as i grow and learn new things. For those of you who don't know me, My name is Gavin Richard Malmstein, i was born at 5am on 06/07/2008. Daddy refers to me as his little numerical baby. I was 8 lbs and 6 oz even though i was about 1 month early.

This is an old picture.. I'm no where near this small anymore. I now sleep in my own bed, in my own room and mommy and daddy are feeding me solid foods already! My doctors says that I need the energy to help me grow... what ever that means. I spend my days across the street at Pat and Dans house while mommy and daddy are at work. Shes helping me to learn how to roll around and soon enough ill be crawling! I cant wait to see what i can get into! Be sure to stop by once and a while to share my adventures with me!
